Hellish Book Three: Unholy Religion

Hellish Book Three: Unholy Religion

When Good and Evil collide on earth, life can become rather Hellish.

In the heart of a quaint town lies a sanctuary steeped in centuries of sacred tradition. Father Gideon, a recently ordained priest, is drawn to its hallowed halls by a calling he cannot ignore. But beneath the tranquil surface lies a sinister secret—a hidden chamber pulsating with the echoes of an ancient evil.

When Father Gideon stumbles upon this forbidden enclave, he unwittingly unleashes a force beyond comprehension. The darkness seeps into his soul, igniting a primal thirst for power and knowledge. As he delves deeper into the mysteries of the chamber, he is consumed by a seductive promise of enlightenment, blurring the lines between salvation and damnation.

As the tendrils of darkness tighten their grip, Father Gideon finds himself on a harrowing descent into madness. Haunted by visions of death and destruction, he becomes a reluctant harbinger of doom, his once-pure intentions twisted by the corrupting influence of unholy forces.

Now, with the fate of his congregation hanging in the balance, Father Gideon must confront the demons within himself before they consume everything he holds dear. But in a battle between faith and darkness, can he find the strength to resist the temptation of ultimate power, or will he succumb to the insidious lure of an unholy religion?

About the Book

Gideon, his internal struggle hidden beneath a mask of tranquility, closed his eyes as a deceptive calm settled over the dimly lit sanctuary and began his prayer, “O, benevolent Spirit, as we partake in this moment of communal devotion, I implore you to extend your mercy upon this town. Grant us strength to overcome any unseen challenges that may threaten the harmony we cherish. Shield us from the shadows that I, as your humble servant, strive to confront. May your radiant glow envelop us all, guiding us towards a future bathed in the brilliance of your divine love.”

A gurgled whisper rose up to Gideon’s ear, causing him to open his eyes. He gasped as he watched a horde of demons emerge from the darkness. The air thickened with an otherworldly chill, and the once-hallowed space quickly twisted into a terrifying nightmare.

Gruesome creatures with twisted, skeletal-thin frames surrounded the unsuspecting parishioners, their skin a sickly shade of ashen gray. Their long, gnarled claws slashed through the air with bone-chilling sounds, sending sprays of blood in every direction, leaving gruesome trails in their wake. The insides of the holy place seemed to warp; its once-hallowed walls now painted with the splatter of death.

One demon, its form resembling a grotesque combination of twisted limbs and leathery wings, lunged toward Gideon with a guttural growl, landing inches away from his face. “Embrace us, Gideon,” the demon hissed. “Swallow the darkness or become lost, just like those you pretend to lead.”

Throughout the sanctuary, the demons reveled in a gruesome dance, tearing at human flesh with relentless ferocity. The congregation’s anguished cries merged with the demonic howls, creating a cacophony of torment that dug into Gideon’s very soul.

Suddenly, the scene shifted back to normal, the crowd completely unaware of the darkness that had just invaded their holy sanctuary. The demons vanished back into the shadows, leaving Gideon standing at the pulpit, drenched in cold sweat.
